3633902 - The inspection lot status remains CRTD instead of changing to REL although inspection plan is not required for the inspection

When creating an inspection lot, the inspection lot status remains CRTD and not changed to REL automatically. 

In inspection type settings, no inspection plan is required for inspection.

The inspection lot status CRTD will be changed to REL only until the sample calculation is finished. Since the indicator 'Manual Sample Calc.' is set in the material master inspection type configuration, the sample needs to be manually calculated by the user.  As a result, the system status will not be change to REL automatically.

For the existing inspection lot, manually change the status to REL with following steps:

1. Go to Change Inspection Lot app.
2. Click the Sample tab.
3. Click the Sample button and save, then the inspection lot status will be changed from CRTD to REL. 

If automatic release is needed in the future, deactivate the indicator 'Manual Sample Calc.' in the material master for the affected inspection type. Then either use an inspection plan, or consider following sample calculation options (in the material master inspection type setup):

• Define an inspection percentage.
• Set the '100% inspection' indicator.
• Enter a sampling procedure.
