3633988 - Not able to retake or relaunch completed SCROM content before the item is completed

• Content can only be viewed once and cannot be accessed again.
• Admin assigned blended course (Instructed-led with online content) to end users and would like to register the learning history only after the class is over. End users are supposed to view the online content multiple times before the class. However, after the users complete the content once, they can not review the content again
• Message shows that "You've completed all the content for XXXX. This course will be part of your learning history after your administrator records your completion."

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Create a blended item (add online content and class) in SAP SuccessFactors Learning.
2. In the content configurration page, set the online content settings to "Add to History on Completion of All Content" as off.
3. For the SCORM content, also set "Add to History on Pass" as off.
4. As per above configuration, when user completed the content, the item will not be marked as completed.
5. However, when users would like to relaunch the content again, the content can not be launced, instead showing a message "You've completed all the content for XXXX. This course will be part of your learning history after your administrator records your completion."

As per confirmation of Product Manager, SCORM content are not allowed to be relaunched again after the content is completed. The content could only be reviewed after the item is completed and reviewed from Learning History.

If admin insists the requirement to allow users to relaunch the SCORM content for multiple times when item keeps incomplete, it needs to make sure that content is not completed.

There are several workarounds:

1. Ask the SCORM content vendor to always send incomplete content status to LMS server so that the content self will never be marked as completed

Or

2. If the content is already created and you would not like to create the content again, change the content launch type from SCORM to Document or Browser, so that content communication will not be sent to LMS server and LMS will never mark the content as completed. 

Note: If the SCORM is imported into LMS via "Import content" tool, SCORM content will not be allowed to change Content Launch type. You need to manually create a new content ID, and fill the exact same "Content URL" with that SCORM content and choose Launch Type to be Document. So that same SCORM content could be launched but it will not be recorded as completion.
