3634110 - Error "500 SAP Internal Server Error" When Trying to Replicate an Employee in Master Data Replication

When trying to replicate an employee in Master Data Replication, "500 SAP Internal Server Error" dump occurs.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Master Data Replication Work Center.
2. Go to the Employees View.
3. Search for the affected employee.
4. Click Replicate.
   "500 SAP Internal Server Error" Dump occurs.

The issue maybe caused due to mismatch in dates of Organizational Assignment / Work Agreement / Time Administration being changing from DD.MM.YYYY to DD1.MM1.YYYY1.

For Example,
Current Record - 08.11.2023 to 29.11.2023
Last Successful Record - 08.11.2023 to 30.11.2023

To solve this issue, replicate the data similar like the last successful replication record by following the below steps:

1. In Employee Central, search for the affected employee and compare the current record with the last successful replication record for:
   • Organizational Assignment
   • Work Agreement
   • Time Administration
2. Ensure that the dates are consistent and the dates matches the last successful replication.
3. In SAP Business ByDesign, go to Master Data Replication Work Center.
4. Under Import, select Employees View.
5. In the Employee List, click Actions and select "Upload Data from Employee Central".
6. On the Upload Data from Employee Central screen, click Upload Data.
7. In the pop-up, select "Individual Upload" to upload employee data for the specific Employee ID.
8. Click OK to start the data load and correct any migration errors triggered by the data load.
9. Click Replicate All to copy all employee data to SAP Business ByDesign.
10. Refresh the Employee List to get the latest replication status.
    • Newly created employee replication requests are in status Not Started until picked for processing.
    • Use the Edit button to display and correct replication requests if necessary.
11. After successful data replication, check the employee data under Employee Data.

Now Employee data is aligned with the last successful replication, and replication completes successfully without the 500 SAP Internal Server Error. 

Note: It is recommended not to change any dates of Organizational Assignment / Work Agreement / Time Administration, it should be similar like the last successful replication request.
