3634158 - Deletion or Deactivation of Non-Leading Ledgers in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

The request is to delete ledger 2L and 3L.

The deletion of ledgers which are already activated is not supported in Public Cloud, even if there are no postings on them.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Attempt to delete ledger 2L or 3L (Non-leading Ledger) in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.
2. Observe that the deletion is not supported.

The system does not support the deletion or deactivation of activated non-leading ledgers after the initial scoping is finalized.

2. Understand that addition/deletion of ledgers is not possible after the initial scoping is finalized.
3. Understand that it is not possible to remove activated ledgers at a later point in time.

5. Consider raising an Expert Configuration request through CSM/CSP, PEE/PE or SAP representative and request the deactivation of the non-leading ledger. Once approved, a new case can be created under the component XX-S4C-SRV-CON to request the team to make the changes. It is not confirm whether the request will be successful.
