3634267 - Error: The location ID you specified either does not exist or you do not have permission to reserve it for a time slot while creating a class in LMS

When creating a new class and selecting any primary location (of a facility), the following error message is displayed: "The location ID you specified either does not exist or you do not have permission to reserve it for a time slot".

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Login to SuccessFactors
2. Go to LMS-> Learning Activities-> Items-> Actions-> Schedule
3. Enter the summary Information and select any Facility
4. Select a primary location, and the error appears:
   Validation Error: Please correct the following errors before proceeding: "The Location ID you specified either does not exist or you do not have permission to reserve it for a time slot".

The issue is caused by the search selector configuration of Location, i.e., Learning Administration -> System Administration -> Configuration -> Search Selectors -> Location. The configuration dropdown ID is set to locDesc.

Change the search selector configuration of Location by setting dropDownId to locID instead of locDesc.
