3634359 - No Supply Proposal Generated for a Product in a Planning Area After Planning Run

There is positive net requirement quantity for product ABC in planning area DEF, it is expected that new supply proposal created after a planning run XYZ executed, but actually not.

*ABC represents product ID

*DEF represents planning area ID

*XYZ represents planning run ID

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Supply Planning work center, access Products view.
2. Search product ABC in planning area DEF, click Open.
3. In the screen "Product Planning Details: ABC/DEF", net requirement quantity is greater than zero.
4. Go to Supply Planning work center, access Planning Runs view.
5. Select run XYZ, schedule a job immediately.
6. Open the latest application log, select tab Results, no proposal created for product ABC in planning area DEF.

In the master data of Product ABC, under tab Planning, there is no planning group ID maintained for planning area DEF. However, planning run XYZ has specific scope of planning group maintained.

In the master data of Product ABC, under tab Planning, maintain corresponding planning group ID for planning area DEF.
