3634447 - Plant of Purchase Order will not impact the result in SSCUI/Activity "Define Rules for Determination of Master Form Template"

Symptom

It is expected to determinate master form template by PLANT in SSCUI 101184 Define Rules for Determination of Master Form Template. 

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Created local text using the app Manage Text (F2894).
  2. Configured derivation rules under "Define Rules for Determination of Master Form Template"
  3. For Purchase Orders, set organizational data as PLANT.
  4. The PO created with this plant doesn't decide the correct master form

 

Cause

Missing functionality as PLANT is not designed as criteria for master form template determination.

Resolution

Currently, for determining the output of purchase orders, only Organization Type: COMPANY and Org. Unit Type: EKORG (Purchasing Org) can be used.

Please note: Maintaining an entry for PLANT will not effectively determine the master form. However, when both PLANT and EKORG are maintained, the decision will be based on the entry for EKORG.
