3634602 - Custom Additional Data Collection step shows pending following submission - Onboarding

• Custom Additional data collection says pending even after being submitted.
• No error message appears during submission.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Create a custom additional data collection step from the following guide - Configuring Onboarding Data Collection with Customized Data Collection Object Instance
2. After configuring the custom additional data collection, create a new candidate
3. Complete steps prior to additional data collection step
4. Login as an onboardee and try to submit the custom additional data collection step.
5. Observe that the system allows submission but the task remains pending.

Error with the config UI.

1. Login as affected candidate.
2. Click on the to do icon in the top right of the home page
3. Click on the Complete additional data collection task
4. Complete the additional data collection tasks as normal
5. Once you have completed the relevant tasks, click submit (Support - See Internal Memo)
6. Go back to the dropdown > onboarding
7. See that the task which showed pending nows says completed
8. To be able to complete the task as normal via dropdown > onboarding, please go to manage configuration UI
9. Search the affected additional data collection task
10. Delete the configuration UI
11. Rebuild the configuration UI with no changes
12. Task should be able to be completed via dropdown > onboarding
