3634691 - Alternate Managers and HRBPs cannot see indirect reports

The setting reportinglevelstodisplay does not work for Alternate Managers and HRBPs, as despite the value configure on it, these users can only see their direct reports under "Team View".

This is an expected system limitation.

The Product Development team has confirmed that, currently, the reportinglevelstodisplay setting is only applied to primary managers, this is true for both ILX and Legacy manager experience.

Therefore, Alternate Managers and HRBPs are only able to see users for which they are directly assigned. 

An enhancement request can be created to have tis functionality added in a future release, as explained in the KBA 2090228 - How to Submit Enhancement Requests for SAP SuccessFactors Products. All enhancement requests are reviewed by SAPs Product Management team and, if successful, are developed and implemented in a future product release.
