3634789 - Inactive user found in excel value help during lead creation

Symptom

An inactive user can be found in the value help in Excel, via the lookup feature, when creating leads. This is different from creating a lead in C4C directly.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the work center Sales, view Leads.
  2. Create a new lead.
  3. Go to owner and check the value help. Here you cannot find the invalid employee ID because the employee validity is expired.
  4. Use Look up function in the Excel template. Here you can find all employees including expired ones.

Cause

Currently, this is a limitation.

Resolution

  1. Employees who are inactive, expired etc can still be found via the lookup feature in Excel since the check for employee validity is specific to the C4C UI.
  2. If required, register this enhancement request on the Influence portal.
