3634933 - Error : Time confirmation not allowed on task

Error "Time confirmation not allowed on task" while checking the Project under Not Invoiced Time and Expenses.

SAP Business ByDesign 

1. Go to Project Management work center.
2. Go to Not Invoiced Time and Expenses view.
3. Under All Active Customer Projects, search the desired Project.
4. Click on Edit Time and Expenses. 
5. Reassignment status of the Project task shows an error icon. 
6. Click on the error to view the error : Time confirmation not allowed on task. 

Time recording in the Project is maintained as Not Allowed. Hence the error is thrown. 

To resolve the error, kindly follow the below steps :

1. Go to Project Management work center.
2. Go to Projects view. 
3. Search and select the Project and click on Edit. 
4. In the Gannt chart tab, select the header Project task. 
5. Scroll down to the Basic data tab and find the field Time Recording . 
6. Maintain the value as Approval Required or No Approval Required based on the approval process requirement of the business. This will enable the Time recording for the Project task and sub tasks. 
7. Time recording can be maintained for the individual sub tasks as well, by following the above steps. 
8. Save the changes. 
9. This will resolve the error and make the Project task available for time recording.
