3635106 - Journal Entry Voucher With Reference Option Greyed Out in General Ledger

Symptom

The Journal Entry Voucher with Reference option is greyed out.

Environment

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the General Ledger Work Center.
  2. Go to the Journal Entry Vouchers View.
  3. Press New.
    The Journal Entry Voucher with Reference is disabled.

Cause

To be able to use the "Journal Entry Voucher with Reference" option the underlying Journal Entry Voucher must not be  Journal Entry Type "Data Migration" or "Recurring Journal Entry Voucher". 

Resolution

  1. Go to the General Ledger Work Center.
  2. Go to the Journal Entry Vouchers View.
  3. Highlight an old Journal Entry Voucher first which is not of type Migration or Recurring Journal Entry Voucher.
  4. Click New.
  5. Select Journal Entry Voucher with Reference - this Option is now available as desired.
