3635179 - Connector time zone is not in UTC

On Learning Admin > Connectors > The default time zone is not displayed as UTC

1. Access Learning Admin >
2. Go to any connector >
3. See at the bottom the note that says "Note: The date and time values in the input file should be in the time zone "(any time zone that is not UTC)"

The Engineering team explained that the time zone displayed in the connectors is different than UTC can be different for some environments due to it being the original database time zone used before the environment was migrated to HANA.

After the environment was migrated to Hana, the Database was migrated to UTC, but to ensure continuity, the connectors still read the incoming timestamp using the original time zone, then converts that timestamp to UTC. This approach allows files to be processes exactly as done before migration. 

The connector timestamp cannot be modified because it can impact the connector run and other areas as well.
