3635182 - Screen does not render correctly when navigating to a configurable material from a Sales Quote - CE2508

Symptom

A temporary screen is displayed before the rendering of the variant configuration screen when selecting an item in a sales quotation and pressing the configure button. 

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 2508

Reproducing the Issue

 

  1. Open the Manage Sales Quotations App. 
  2. Press go to display the list of Sales Quotations.
  3. Select the relevant Sales Quotation number and click on the number value. 
  4. A pop up window will open.
  5. Click the "Change Sales Quotation - VA22" option.
  6. The Sales Quotation will now open in change mode. 
  7. Select the checkbox beside the item which is setup to be configurable.
  8. Click the configure button.
  9. A temporary screen will display for a few seconds before the variant screen appears.

 

Cause

Coding issue.

Resolution

The changes are planned to be delivered with the microdelivery release 2025.1
