3635405 - Excel Add-in Not Working For Exchange Rates Showing Message "Excel data set ABC: Rate already exists with a different rate"

You are working with the feature 'exchange rate for foreign currencies' from 'Administrator' work center in the 'Common Tasks' view. You would like to work with such entries via Excel Add-in but it is not working and you wonder why.

There is no write-back template for the feature 'Exchange Rate For Foreign Currencies' with the current release of the SAP Add-In for Microsoft Excel. As a result of this you cannot update the exchange rates via Excel Add-In.

In the C4C UI, you can either remove the existing incorrect exchange rate entry by select the remove button or using the Import Exchange Rates option, create a new entry or mass upload multiple entries, where the 'Valid From' is at least one minute greater than the existing entry for the same source and target currency.
