3635471 - Cannot find custom application after transported - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

Unable to see the custom application after transported to Test/Production tenant.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Cause

The objects related to the custom application are not included in the same transport request.

Or

The manually created Launchpad Descriptor Item does not contain required content.

Resolution

Include objects related to the custom application below in the same transport request and transport again:

  • Business catalog Object Type: SIA1
  • IAM app Object Type: SIA6
  • Business Catalog Assignment Object Type: SIA7
  • Launchpad Descriptor Item Object Type: UIAD

Or

Generate Launchpad Descriptor Item automatically, or adjust manifest.json according to Develop an SAP Fiori Application UI | SAP Help Portal
