3635524 - "Target UI could not be determined in the current scope" Error When Opening Document Compliance Service Integration

When attempting to open a fine-tuning activity “Document Compliance Service Integration", the system shows the error:

"Target UI could not be determined in the current scope."

SAP Business ByDesign

• Go to the Business Configuration work center.
• Select Implementation Projects view.
• Click Open Activity List.
• click on the fine-tuning activity, “Document Compliance Service Integration”.
• Error appears:

“Target UI could not be determined in the current scope.”

The fine-tuning activity depends on UI components related to Peppol integration, which is only supported for specific countries. If scoped countries (e.g., Spain, UK, US, Italy) do not support Peppol, the corresponding UI views will not be available.

Scope Supported Countries for Peppol Integration

• If tenant is scoped only for countries not supporting Peppol (like Spain, UK, Italy, or USA), the UI components needed for the activity will be missing.
• Scope any Peppol-supported country such as Austria, Germany, Netherlands, etc.

Unscope the Activity if Not Needed

If Peppol integration is not required:

• Remove the activity "Document Compliance Service Integration" from the implementation project.
