3635894 - Application error in job requisition creation due to unsupported custom field configuration - Recruiting Management

When the user is creating the job requisition from position, it's receiving the following error message: "An application error occurred. Please try again later, or notify support (with the error information of errorID=6c63aea0-6c98-4091-8531-156e70fe6345, timestamp=2025-07-23T16:51:47.616+0000, and the version information from the current screen) if the issue keeps occurring."

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

1. Attempt to create a job requisition from a position in SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting.
2. Observe the application error with the provided error message and error ID.

The issue occurs due to a misconfiguration in the Job Requisition Template. Specifically, a custom field with Field ID "originator" and type=operator is defined. This configuration is unsupported as fields of type=operator are only supported for standard fields, not custom fields.

1. Open the Job Requisition Template configuration.
2. Identify the custom field with Field ID "originator" and type=operator.
3. Replace the custom field with the standard supported field ID "originatorName."
4. Change the custom attribute of the field to "false."
5. Save the changes to the Job Requisition Template.
6. Test the job requisition creation process to confirm the issue is resolved.
