3635962 - Candidates Can Access Onboarding Tasks After Manage Pending Hires – Onboarding

Candidates can still access their external onboarding accounts even after their Manage Pending Hires (MPH) process is fully completed and approved.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Complete the onboarding process for a candidate and submit the data to Manage Pending Hires.
2. Fully approve the candidate in Manage Pending Hires so they are moved into Employee Central.
3. Attempt to access the onboarding external account as the candidate (after Manage Pending Hires approval).
4. Observe that access to the onboarding portal is still active, even though the candidate is fully hired.

This is expected system behavior within the current framework of SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 2.0.

The continued access of candidates to their external onboarding accounts after MPH approval is by design and is considered normal behavior.
