Symptom

A transport request task of developer extensibility is released but does not appear in the target system.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Release a transport request task in the source system.
  2. Check the target tenant for the transport request task.
  3. Observe that the transport request task does not appear in the target system.

Cause

The task does not contain any objects, and therefore, it does not appear in the target system.

Resolution

Verify if the transport request task contains any object and transport again if needed.
