• Submit button disabled even if single record approval recording has the status 'Declined' in Employee Time Sheet Entry.
• Cannot submit timesheet with declined single record approval records.

SAP SuccessFactors Time Tracking

1. Employee 'SingleRecordApproval BLUE' records SRA 'BLUE_SINGLE_RECORD' time type on 14th July 2025.
2. This goes for approval from the manager.
3. Manager declines the request.
4. Submit button for Timesheet is disabled.
   

There will be different behaviours of declined SRA depending on whether the time sheet is Legacy Week or Flexible Approval Period.

FOR LEGACY WEEK:

1. This is the expected behaviour with Legacy Week period time sheets.

2. Either Remove or Resubmit a desired SRA (Single Record Approval Time Type - BLUE_SINGLE_RECORD in our example use case in this KBA).

3. Ensure SRA is approved from the approver.

4. Now you should be able to submit the time sheet (Submit button enabled).

FOR FLEXIBLE APPROVAL PERIOD:

1. Declined SRA will be treated as inactive ones.

   These enhancements are only available for Time Tracking customers who have implemented flexible approval periods. You set up flexible approval periods by creating a Time Recording Approval Period object, setting the length to any value other than Legacy Week, and adding this object to the time recording profiles of the relevant employees

   Handling of declined recordings

FINDING LENGTH OF TIME RECORDING APPROVAL PERIOD IN TRP:

1. Go to the job information of the employee.
2. Copy the Time Recording Profile (TRP) assigned to the employee in question.
   
   
   
3. In the Time Recording Profile (Clocktime Simple in our example), Check if Time Recording Approval Period has the Length maintained as 'Legacy Week'
