3636404 - Inconsistent name formatting in Learning Administration "Assigned By" view

The 'Assigned By' column in Learning Administration > Users > Assigned Items displays names in inconsistent formats depending on the method of self-assignment. When a course is self-assigned using the "Start Course" button, the name format differs from when the "Assign to Me" button is used. This inconsistency affects sorting, as names formatted as "LAST, FIRST" are not grouped with names formatted as "FIRST LAST".

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Log into HCM > navigate to the Learning module >
2. Search for a course in the library and click the course title to open the course home >
3. Click the "Start Course" button to self-assign the course >
4. Return to the Learning module and search for a different course >
5. Open the course information by clicking the course title link >
6. Click the "Assign to Me" button to self-assign the course >
7. Navigate to Learning Administration > People > Users and search for the relevant user >
8. Access the "Assigned Items" tab and sort by "Assigned Date" in descending order >
9. Observe the inconsistent name formatting in the "Assigned By" column.

The issue is caused by inconsistent handling of name formatting during the self-assignment process, depending on whether the "Start Course" or "Assign to Me" button is used.
