3636445 - Blank record is created in Job Information as part of Position to job sync even though no field changes on Position side

A new job information record is created without any changes with source as 'Position to Job Sync' even though there are no field changes done on position.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central : Position Management

1. Navigate to Manage Position.
2. Create a new record in position without any changes.
3. Check job information of the incumbent.
4. There is a record created in job info with same effective date and without any changes with source as 'Position to Job sync'.

One or more fields in the position to job sync rule is not enabled in job information and for this field there is a change as compared to the previous record. Since the field is not enabled, the new job info record created does not show any field changes.

If there is any field which is not enabled in job information but added in the position to job sync rule, remove that field from the rule.
