Symptom

When executing migration, the following error message is displayed: 

Error message: Error detected in source record with key value 30, 8060, , , , , , , , , 060000, Object FIA_ACCOUNTING_ENTRY is currently not open for data migration specific changes. 

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Business Configuration work center.
  2. Go to Overview view.
  3. Activity Migration of Accounting Transaction Data.
  4. Click Migrate accounting transaction data using the migration tool.
  5. Select the corresponding item.
  6. Click execute migration.
  7. Click Process Files.

Cause

The relevant Migration Object is not selected in the activity 'Enable or Disable Data Migration'.

Resolution

  1. Go to Business Configuration work center.
  2. Go to Overview view.
  3. Show All Activities and search the activity 'Enable Data Migration per Object'.
  4. Select Change Immediately.
  5. Enable the corresponding Migration Objects.
  6. Select save and close.
