3636453 - Exception occurred while processing valuation data during product migration in SAP S/4HANA

Symptom

During the migration of product through staging table approach method in migrate your data app the below error occurs.

  • Error message: PMD_MSG 38 - "Exception occurred while processing valuation data".
  • Error message: PMD_MSG 35 - "An error occurred during processing of this batch".
  • Data in the staging table was not correctly passed to the function module CMD_MIG_PROD_MAINTAIN.
  • Relevant tables/fields in LT_IO_R_IT_DATA contained blank values, leading to follow-up errors.
