Cannot modify the value under 'Cost of Sales' tab in Sales Account Determination. All the buttons are grayed out.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Business Configuration - Overview.
2. Search for activity 'Charts of Accounts, Financial Reporting Structures, Account Determination'.
3. Open the activity and select: Account Determination -> Sales.
4. Navigate to 'Cost of Sales' tab.
5. See that all the buttons are grayed out, thus unable to modify any values under this tab.

Question "Do you want to post the costs for sales documents to expense accounts instead of Cost of Goods Sold?" is selected.

To be able to edit the values under Cost of Sales tab, follow the below steps to descope the above mentioned Question:

1. Go to Business configuration work center.
2. Select the project and click on button "Edit Project Scope".
3. Click Next until step 4 Questions.
4. Navigate to Financial and management Accounting ->General Ledger ->General Ledger.
5. Find the relevant Question in the right side "Do you want to post the costs for sales documents to expense accounts instead of Cost of Goods Sold?".
6. Unchecked it and finish the steps.
7. Refresh the tenant and can modify the values under 'Cost of Sales' tab now.
