Symptom
- Certain bank account field (ex. "Bank Account Characteristics") is not available in Manage Bank Accounts app.
- The field is missing as a filter, column, or for maintenance within the bank account master data.
- The issue persists in both display and edit modes.
Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.
Reproducing the Issue
- Access the "Manage Bank Accounts" app.
- Attempt to locate the "Bank Account Characteristics" field as a filter or column.
- Select the first bank account in the list to display detailed information.
- Observe that the "Bank Account Characteristics" field is not available in either display or edit mode.
Cause
The absence of certain field in Manage Bank Accounts app may be linked to the system being set to the Basic cash scope, which offers fewer fields for managing bank accounts.
Resolution
- Verify the configuration in SSCUI "Define Basic Settings" to ensure the cash scope is set to "Full Scope."
- If the cash scope is already set to "Full Scope" and the issue persists, allow time for the system to process and reflect the changes (usually about 2 days).
- Confirm that the field is now visible in the Manage Bank Accounts app.
- If the issue remains unresolved, create a case on component FIN-FSCM-CLM-BAM-2CL.
