Symptom
Changing the priority of a maintenance order does not impact the required start and end date calculation.
Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
Reproducing the Issue
- Define required dates for corresponding priority types in SSCUI 102583 - Define Priorities for Each Priority Type.
- Open a maintenance order in app Change Maintenance Order.
- Change the priority of the maintenance order.
- Observe that the required start and end dates remain unchanged.
Cause
This is expected system behavior. The priority setting influences the start and end dates of a maintenance order only during its creation, changing the priority after the order has been created does not update the required start and end dates.
Resolution
