Symptom
Emails sent to SAP Cloud for Customer (C4C) do not display complete content in the interaction or timeline view. The email content is fully visible in the Overview tab but appears partially visible or blank in the Email Viewer tab.
Environment
SAP Cloud for Customer core applications
Reproducing the Issue
- Navigate to the Service WorkCentre.
- Click on Tickets.
- Open the relevant ticket.
- Observe that the email content is incomplete in the interaction view but fully visible in the Overview tab.
Cause
Emails sent with HTML content but having their MIME type set to `text/plain` are not rendered correctly in the interaction or timeline view.
Resolution
1. Ensure that the emails sent to SAP Cloud for Customer (C4C) are formatted with the correct and supported Content-Type.
- The Content-Type should be set to `text/html` instead of `text/plain` at the source system sending the email to C4C.
2. In cases where email content appears incomplete:
- Navigate to Activities → Emails.
- Check the Overview tab to view the plain text version, where the full content will be visible.
- Check the Email Viewer tab to view the HTML version (if available).
3. Note that the content displayed in the Email Viewer tab is what will also appear in the ticket’s interaction or timeline view.
