3637043 - Text Field Not Appearing in Job Token Layout - Recruiting Marketing

 Users report that certain text fields configured in the job requisition template do not appear in the job token layout. This restricts customization options for job postings within the Career Site Builder (CSB). 

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Marketing (RMK)

1. Configure a text field in the Job requisition template
2. Attempt to add this text field in the job token layout
3. Observe that the field does not appear

The issue is due to Unified Data Model (UDM) field compatibility restrictions. UDM supports only certain field types (Picklist, Generic Object, Enum Object) for use as filters. Text fields, therefore, cannot be utilized as job tokens under UDM.

If a non-supported field type is included in the requisition templates (i.e. text field), it will not be available as a selection option in UDM.  To resolve this issue, reconfigure the text field using a supported format recognized by UDM, and then repost the job. Follow these steps:

1. Navigate to CSB > Layouts > Job > Layout Rules.

2. Modify Field Configuration:  Alter the text field to a compatible type, such as a Picklist, Generic Object, or Enum Object.

3.  Incorporate necessary components to your job page layout, including the Token component.

4. Select the appropriate job token for the field being incorporated.

5. Adjust the label to match the corresponding field in the RCM system.

6. Publish the layout to activate changes and verify the correct display.

Please note the exception: Legacy Division and Department fields configured as enum cannot be used as search filters. Only Division and Department fields configured as Objects are compatible when UDM is enabled.
