3637059 - Unable to add Google Maps widget main search page in Career Site Builder - Recruiting Marketing

Users are unable to add a Google Maps widget directly to the "All Jobs" search page in SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Marketing's Career Site Builder (CSB). Although the widget can be integrated into category-specific pages, it does not function on the main search results page.

The conventional layout of Career Site Builder does not support direct integration of Google Maps on the primary/main search page due to current system limitations.

Currently, it is not possible to integrate the Google Maps widget directly into the "All Jobs" search page without utilizing the Unified Data Model. However, a workaround involving the Unified Data Model enables the required integration, ensuring candidates can view job locations on a map.

Using Unified Data Model:

1. Enable Unified Data Model: refers to the guide Career Site Builder Unified Data Model. Ensure your recruiting system adheres to prerequisites for implementing the Unified Data Model.

2. Configure Layouts: Go to Layouts > Search Results within Career Site Builder.

3. Under Settings, enable location-based searches and Google Job Map by moving the relevant sliders to 'YES'.

4. Implement Job Location Generic Object: Before using the Google Job Map, configure the Job Location generic object.

5. Review Documentation: Refer to "Configuring Layout of Search Results for the Unified Data Model" for detailed steps.

Additional Notes:

• The workaround applies universally across all job search pages, including "All Jobs" and category pages.

• When the Unified Data Model is enabled, you first need to configure the Job Location generic object, before you can use the Google Job Map component.

• The map view is only available on the site's main search results page (jobs.example.com/search). It isn't available on category pages.
