3637158 - No revaluation on production order after actual costing run in sap s/4hana cloud public edition

No revaluation occurs at the production order level after executing the actual costing run, CON2 functionality is not available in Public Cloud Edition.
With the release of CE2608 upgrade, Job template "Run Revaluation at Actual Cost Rate – Orders and PCC" is introduced to achieve the revaluation of orders at actual cost rate.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Execute transaction KSII.
2. Run the actual costing application, including the "Post Closing" step.
3. Observe that the system posts the adjustment for the actual rate in the cost center.
4. Verify that the offset entry is not recorded in the production order.

This is the current standard behavior in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition. The functionality of transaction CON2, which performs order revaluation, is not available in the public cloud system.

Kindly refer detailed instructions in Run Revaluation at Actual Cost Rate – Orders and PCC to revalue the order at actual cost rate.

The prerequisites for revaluation depend on whether actual costing (scope item 33Q) is activated in the system:

• Actual costing (scope item 33Q) is not activated:

  You can run revaluations without additional prerequisites.

• Actual costing (33Q) is activated:

  By default, the Update of Activity Consumption in the Quantity Structure configuration setting is 2 - Activity update relevant to price determination. This means that activity updates are relevant to multi-level price determination in actual costing. Thus, differences between the planned cost rate posted during the period and the actual cost rate at the end of the period are to be adjusted between cost centers (credit) and materials (debit) in actual costing. If you want to revaluate these differences on order level instead, the Activate Actual Costing configuration setting must be changed to 1 - Activity update not relevant to price determination.
