3637235 - Message type cannot be changed in configuration activity Define Message Types for Area M8

In SSCUI 102091 Define Message Types for Area M8, the Standard message type can not be changed by users. 

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Navigate to SSCUI 102091 (Define Message Types for Area M8).
2. Attempt to change the standard message type for message M8108 from "I"  to "E".
3. Observe that the system does not allow the change.

This is standard system behavior.

Using function module CUSTOMIZED_MESSAGE the user can be given the option of setting the type of a message (S, I, W, E, A). To this end, the system needs a standard type (default value) with which to output the message if the customer does not make any individual settings. The standard message type in SSCUI 102091(Define Message Types for Area M8) are predefined by SAP and cannot be modified by users.
