3637479 - Purchase Requisition from Catalog Items Fails Due to Missing Info Record in SAP S/4HANA Self-Service Procurement

Symptom

  • Automatic purchase order (PO) creation fails for material-based catalog items with the error message: "Info record for supplier and material does not exist."
  • Free text catalog items allow PO creation without requiring a purchase info record.
  • System prompts an error to update the net price in the PO when attempting to by pass the info record requirement.
