3637501 - Workflow Restart Suppression for Purchase Order Invoicing Party Updates in SAP S/4HANA

Symptom

  • When updating the PI (Invoicing Party) partner function in a Purchase Order (PO), the system re-triggers the Flexible Workflow, even though the change is not approval relevant.
  • This behavior causes unnecessary workflow restarts and delays in the PO processing cycle.
