3637631 - No Postings In The WIP Clearing Run For a Production Lot

A WIP clearing run was executed for production lot ABC, but no postings were generated. (ABC represents the production Lot ID).

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Navigate to the Work Centre Inventory Valuation.
2. Select WIP Clearing.
3. Execute the WIP run for production lot ABC.
4. Observe that the run is successful, but no postings are generated.

Check the Production End Date of the Production Lot ABC. Here the Production End Date was reset during the time of the WIP Clearing Run was executed.

You can check it as follow:

1. Go to Inventory Valuation Work Centre
2. Select Production Lot view under Master Data
3. Show All Production Lots and find the Production Lot in question and click on it and View All
4. Navigate to the tab Execution Monitor tab and click on Task ID CCCC (CCCC stands for Task ID number). 
5. In the Production Task Overview screen, Click on View Instruction.
6. On the Instruction Tab you find the start and end time of the task:
   Actual Start:DD.MM.YYYY 06:30
   Actual End:  DD.MM.YYYY 10:30

1. Ensure that all business tasks related to the production lot are completed before executing the WIP clearing run.
2. Re-execute the WIP clearing run for the affected production lot.
3. Confirm that the WIP clearing posting is successfully generated.
