3637663 - 'You don’t have the required permission to view time type information' Error When Viewing the Team Absence Calendar

When viewing the Team Absence Calendar, the following error message appears

"You don’t have the required permission to view time type information. Please contact your administrator."

Note: You have checked to ensure that the affected user has the 'Access Team Absence Calendar' permission as outlined in the 'Permissions for the Team Absence Calendar' section of the implementation guide.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central > Time Off

1. Proxy as the user facing the error
2. Go to the View Team Absences page via the quick card or action search
3. See that no team members appear and only an error message stating "You don’t have the required permission to view time type information. Please contact your administrator." is displayed.

The affected user does not have permission to the time type object

1. Go to Configure Object Definitions > Time Type
2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and look for the 'Security' section
3. If the 'Secured' field is set to 'No', then the affected user will need to be granted the following permission: Metadata Framework > Access to non-secured objects.
4. If the 'Secured' field is set to 'Yes', then the affected user will need to be granted the following permission: Time Management Object Permissions > Time Type > View
