3637719 - Error message "Point Of Engagement in use, cannot be removed" occurs in Engagement Map

When trying to remove a Point of Engagement from an Engagement Map, error message "Point Of Engagement in use, cannot be removed" is displayed.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to Activity Planner > Engagement Maps.
2. Open the desired Engagement Map.
3. Go to Points of Engagement facet.
4. Click to remove the desired Point of Engagement.
5. Error message "Point Of Engagement in use, cannot be removed" occurs.

The Point of Engagement is most likely being used in one or more KPI formulas. A comparison KPI is added to the Engagement Map and is also assigned under the KPI Scoring tab. Since the Point of Engagement is used in the comparison KPI, the system is not allowing it to be deleted directly.

Please follow the steps below in sequence:

1. Go to Activity Planner > Engagement Maps.
2. Open the desired Engagement Map.
3. Remove the KPI assignment from the KPI Scoring tab.
4. Delete the KPI from the KPIs tab.
5. Then, remove the Point of Engagement from the respective tab.
6. Save.
