3637843 - Purchaser Note/Release Order Text Not Displayed in "Manage Purchase Contracts" App

Symptom

In the Manage Purchase Contracts app, after creating a contract, the purchaser note/Release Order Text information is not being saved.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the Manage Purchase Contracts app.

  2. Create or edit an existing purchase contract.

  3. Enter text in the Purchaser Note/Release Order Text  field at the header level.

  4. Save the contract.

  5. Reopen the contract – text is not displayed.

Cause

The Text linkages for the Text type in the contract header note are missing in SSCUI 104065 Define Copying Rules for Header Texts in Contracts. 

Resolution

  1. Open SSCUI 104065 Define Copying Rules for Header Texts in Contracts
  2. Select 17 Purchaser Note/00 Release Order Text in Text types
  3. Maintain Text Linkage as below:
