3637945 - In the Latest People Profile, the Manager link in the Job Information history section appears grayed out and not clickable

Symptom

When the latest people profile is enabled, clicking the history (clock icon) button on the Job information page shows that the link for the manager /Supervisor name is inactive or greyed out.

Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.  

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central -Job Information
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Profile - Latest People Profile

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to employee profile.
  2. Go to Job Data.
  3. Under Job information click "History" or "clock" icon.
  4. Scroll down to the manager /Supervisor name and try to click the manager name. 
  5. The link should take to manager profile, but it is greyed out and not clickable.

           

Cause

This is expected behavior currently in PPX.

Resolution

  • This is expected behavior currently in PPX.
  • In PPX, the Job information history currently follows the legacy People Profile(PP3).
  • This limitation will be addressed once the PPX History feature is fully implemented. however, the implementation date has not yet been confirmed. 
  • Workaround: You can click manager link from job data card.
