3638038 - Candidate Merge Now Supported in the Latest Applicant Workbench

We are pleased to announce that the latest applicant workbench now supports the candidate merge feature.

1. A candidate has applied to the same job requisition twice with two different candidate profiles
2.  Manage Duplicate Candidates tool is used to merge both candidates profiles into a single candidate profile.
3. A master Candidate profile is created and a single application remains and is visible and actionable in the latest applicant workbench
4. As part of the merge, the system removes the duplicated application and it is now longer visible in the UI.
5. (add note on whether or not the application gets anonymized or not) 

When using the Manage Duplicate Candidates feature, two candidate profiles can be merged into a single profile and only one application will remain, the system removes the other orphaned/duplicated application and it will no longer be visible in the UI in the Latest Applicant Workbench.

This functionality is being released in a phased manner and will be available in all customer instances by September 30th, 2025.
