3638111 - Inconsistent creation of tariff number attributes in import declaration documents

Symptom

Users report inconsistent behavior with Tariff Number Attributes (TNA) in import declaration documents in SAP S/4HANA Foundation 2022. Specifically:

  • Sometimes TNA data is proposed during document creation.

  • Other times, it is populated only when the user accesses the TNA tab under the item.

This leads to missing declaration elements (e.g. for China) not being visible until it is too late, which causes delays and compliance issues with customs brokers.
