3638135 - Error: "Distribution channel AA does not exist" is Encountered During Sales Org Replication in SAP Service Cloud Version 2.

Symptom

The replication of salesAreaS4ReplicationMessageIn fails with the following error:

Note - AA is used to indicate the distribution channel in SAP Service Cloud Version 2.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open "Settings".
  2. Select the "All Settings" tab.
  3. In the Integration section, navigate to "Message Monitoring".
  4. Look up the message ID: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.
  5. Review the error message.

Note - AA is used to indicate the distribution channel in SAP Service Cloud Version 2.

Cause

The issue is caused by the absence of the required distribution channel in the SAP Sales and Service Cloud Version 2.

Resolution

  1. Navigate to the Distribution Channels section in the SAP Sales and Service Cloud Version 2.
  2. Create the missing distribution channel (e.g. Distribution Channel AA).
  3. Reprocess the failed messages in Message Monitoring.
  4. Verify that the messages are successfully processed after the distribution channel is created.
