3638140 - SuccessFactors LMS: Approvals Status (CSV) report not displaying cancelled approval requests

• The "Approvals Status (CSV)" report does not display approval requests that were submitted and subsequently cancelled by users.
• Cancelled approvals remain visible in the "Approvals" tab of the users but are not reflected in the report.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. User submits an approval request for an item.
2. User cancels the approval request, before the approver would approve or deny the request.
3. As an Administrator, checking the User record "Approvals" tab, we can confirm that the approval process is marked as "Cancelled".
4. Run the "Approvals Status (CSV)" report, select the relevant user, and check all boxes to include all approval statuses.
5. Observe that the cancelled approval request is not displayed in the report.

• The "Approvals Status (CSV)" report is designed to exclude cancelled approval records that have no decision associated with them.
• Cancelled records without decisions are classified as invalid for reporting purposes because the associated courses were removed or unassigned by the users before any managerial or supervisory approval was made.

• The "Approvals Status (CSV)" report is functioning as designed. Cancelled approval requests without decisions are excluded from the report as they are considered invalid records.
• As the data is available in database, a custom report can be created to include these cancelled requests as well. Regarding custom report development and support please refer to KBA 2379690 - Custom Report Development and Support - SAP SuccessFactors Learning
