Symptom

  • The custom column is missing in the IW49N transaction in SAP S/4HANA.
  • The user expects to see the custom field maintained in the Enhancement tab of the in the IW32 transaction (Preventive Maintenance Order).
  • The column in IW49N is displayed as "User field with 20 characters" instead of the expected name from the enhancement tab.
