3638245 - Withholding tax type configuration of country Australia - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Due to a content packaging issue, the configuration of withholding tax type QA and QC of country Australia was wrongly set to Payment Posting instead of Invoice Posting during your initial content activation on S/4HANA Public Cloud system.  

Please note: In case you are affected with this issue, you will receive a dedicated email notification by mid of August, 2025.  

SAP’s analysis shows your transactions were not affected. To prevent the issue from happening again, SAP fixed the underlying issue and delivered a fix. To restore your specific configuration, SAP has re-deployed the relevant content in your system and a correction transport request was generated.     

Your Actions Required:   

• Please put postings relevant for Withholding Tax type QA and QC on hold until transport request is successfully imported into the production system.   
• To get the id of your correction transport, please open an incident: 
  • Title: "Withholding Tax Configuration Type QA and QC Changed"  
  • Component: FI-LOC-CNT-AU
  • Text: “Please provide us the id of the correction transport for withholding tax type configuration issue affecting Australia.”
  • Priority : Medium   

• Please ask your team to release the transport and import it to the affected systems.
