3638325 - End Date in pay component not supported - Onboarding

• Error encountered during Manage Pending Hires > Onboarding  or  during Onboarding:
  "Compensation: End-dated payments are not allowed for pay component . Do not enter an end date for this pay component."
• Same pay component, with an end date, works in Employee Central.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Navigate to MPH > Onboarding
2. Select the onbordee
3. Proceed until Compensation Information
4. Add the end-dated pay component
5. Attempt to submit the data.
6. Observe the error message: "Compensation: End-dated payments are not allowed for pay component. Do not enter an end date for this pay component."

• End-Dated pay components are currently not supported in Onboarding.
• Our Engineering team is aware of this limitation; However an enhancement request might be submitted in the Community Portal following KBA 2090228 to show interest on this feature.

Workaround: Remove the end-date in the pay component to proceed with Onboarding, hire the user, add the end-date in the EC profile post hiring.
