3638353 - Name fields accepting emoji/icons in candidate application - Recruiting Management

When you access the candidate application, you will see some icons and emojis alongside the candidate's name.

The issue arises because the input fields for the first name and last name currently permit a broad range of Unicode characters, which includes emojis. Typically, these fields are configured to accept any character input. If you are able to see icons besides the candidate name, this is because the candidate it's adding the emoji during the application process.

We don’t have validation for these emojis. These emoji are read like non-English characters like Chinese or Russian characters. Adding validation can be raise as possible enhancement.
