The "Refresh All" option is disabled after removing the custom XML manually.
Environment
SAP Analytics Cloud, add-in for Microsoft Office
Reproducing the Issue
- Open the SAC Excel add-in.
- Attempt to log in.
- Observe the error message indicating restricted access.
- Notice that the add-in attempts to connect to a removed model or data source.
Cause
- Residual references to removed models or data sources in the workbook.
- Manual deletion of custom XML disrupts the add-in's ability to process workbook objects correctly.
Resolution
- Open the workbook in the SAC Excel add-in and log in.
- Navigate to the "Workbook" tab in the ribbon.
- Open the "Preferences" tab and locate the "Restore Corrupted Workbook Objects" section.
- Select "Show Panel to restore objects" to identify missing named ranges.
- Delete the identified named ranges using the "Delete Named Range" option.
- Repeat step 5 until no corrupt named ranges are found.
- Perform a "Refresh All" to update the tables.
- Save the workbook before closing it.
