3638482 - Not All Files Are Uploaded as Attachments For The Documents

Symptom

When trying to upload multiple attachment files for a document, not all the files are attached correctly.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

For the steps, a Sales Order document will be used as an example.

  1. Go to the Sales Order Work Center.
  2. Navigate to the Sales Order View.
  3. Click "New" to create a new Sales Order.
  4. Click "View All".
  5. Navigate to the Attachments tab.
  6. Upload multiple files.
  7. Click on Confirm button on the pop-up.

Observe that some files are missing after the upload completes.

Cause

The upload process is terminated when the confirmation pop-up is selected before the upload progress bar completes.

Resolution

As a workaround, we recommend ensuring that the upload bar process is fully completed before clicking on the confirmation button. 

This behavior occurs specifically with large files. For smaller files, the confirmation can be performed immediately after the pop-up appears without any problem.
